    I absolutely love this series. Sometimes it takes me awhile to read a book. I read a little everyday but wind up getting sleepy while reading. Well I must say this series has kept me so involved!! Love love love them. I just bought the last three of series. Looking forward to reading. ❤️

    I must say that I laugh, cry, felt sad, joy and happiness. There is a connection to the characters in these books, in one way or another. I'm hook for sure wanting to know what happen next. I can not wait to read the up coming book about Jack. Thank you for writing these book Ms. Maclean.

    ***I was given an ARC copy of this book in exchange for a true and honest review*** This was a truly great read that I enjoyed very much. I started reading this late in the evening and couldn't finish it but the next day as soon as I could I got right back to it. I'm definitely going to be on the lookout for more of Ms. Julianne Maclean's work. This book was well written with well developed characters, vibrant location descriptions and a story that encompasses the full scale of human emotions. The plot was well thought out and presented in an intelligent and easy to read format. I usually don't care for books that go back and forth between characters, locations, and time periods but this one was well laid out and made it easy for the reader to enjoy and follow. This is a full length book that you might not find easy to read in one day although I'm sure there are those that can manage. This story is about questions the main character Katelyn Roberts a news journalist faces when her husband Mark betrays her and their marriage vows with another woman and divorces her. This heartless act and a near fatal cycling accident start her down a road of asking who she is and what she truly wants or needs in her life. The "vision" she experiences during the accident start her questioning many things such forever love, faith, coincidences, miracles, magic, reincarnation. The life memories she experiences are hers but aren't hers which create confusion and uncertainty within her. While researching "her" past life she books hotel rooms for her and her friend Bailey in Maine where she wants to start tracking down information. She books rooms for herself and her friend Bailey in a house turned hotel. She finds out that It's actually the house that she lived in during her what she thinks is her past life. While trying to put the many puzzle pieces together she comes face to face with two angry men who are possibly the current reincarnations of the two men from her past life. There's Aaron who was Sebastian the husband whom Evangeline loved desperately but who cheated on her in the tragic past. Then there's Jack, Aaron's younger brother who turns out to be Mr. Williams the quiet and gentle soul who was the assistant lighthouse keeper who Evangeline felt she could confide in. The two men get into a physical altercation over Katelyn. They treat her like a chew toy that two dogs are fighting over. She heads home hurt, angry and more confused than ever. Who is she meant to be with, the husband or the sweet and gentle young lighthouse keeper. Is she meant to find happiness in this life with another or is she supposed to right a wrong from the previous life. She asks both men to give her both time and space to sort things out for herself without any interference from either of them. Months later things become clear to her and she heads back to her future with Aaron. She finds peace, love, contentment, and joy in her new life. Ms. Maclean's book is brilliant and keeps the reader completely engaged in the story that she weaves with great artistry. Enjoy everyone your in for a real treat.

    "The Color of Forever" by Julianne MacLean. Wow! Ms. MacLean sure knows how to write. While I have not read all the books in this series (The Color of Heaven Series), I have read a few and honestly, cannot say which is my favorite. I've enjoyed all of them to that degree. In "The Color of Forever", Ms. MacLean has penned a beautiful tale of the journey of love, a touch of magic and a sense of being that I don't often find in other books. In this story, we have Katelyn. She is a reporter that has a life altering event that leads her on a path of self discovery. As she travels with her best friend Bailey, she meets others that all have an impact on her life. I so enjoyed this journey - it's deep and thought provoking yet leaves the reader with a sense of wonder and awe. Ms. MacLean has proven to me yet again that she is a talented and truly gifted artist that brings her characters and story to life through words. Her descriptions are detailed yet not overdone. As the reader, I believed and could envision each and every scene. The feelings portrayed by the characters I felt in my heart. I felt as if I was a spirit myself, traveling this journey with Katelyn, overlooking her shoulder the entire time. While this is Book 10 of the series, it can easily be read as a standalone. Although, if the other books in the series are as enchanting as the three I've read already, I will gladly read the remainder and recommend that as well. (received copy from author for honest review)

While this book is part of the Color of Heaven series, you can easily read it as a standalone. I highly recommend you read the series because Julianne MacLean does such a good job of creating rich characters with thought provoking storylines.
